Located in Hangzhou, the Dothink Daja Elegant Mansion is a unique property development project that serves as both a sales center and a club for residents. The project, designed by GFD, features three types of low-density architectural forms: Oriental private house, innovative stacked villa, and high-rise building. The design draws on the local culture and architectural styles along the Grand Canal, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere.
The negotiation area is spacious and filled with bright light, reflecting the openness of the Grand Canal. The ceiling in the elevator hall uses rippled stainless steel sheets, mirroring the flowing water of the canal. The VIP room, or contract signing room, is adorned with elegant and delicate decorations. Wood-grain wall panels and ink-wash fabric add a sense of tranquility and solemnity to the space, embodying the spirit of the Grand Canal.
The project, which covers an area of 1081 square meters, was realized using materials such as stainless steel, sintered stone, marble, resin board, wood veneer, and fabric covering. The design team faced the challenge of maintaining the purity of the space while catering to the aesthetic needs of visitors of different ages. The solution was to incorporate a life experience hall and an underground gym, which directly reflect the project's quality and offer a specific lifestyle to the clients.
Dothink Daja Elegant Mansion started in June 2019 and was completed in December 2019 in Zhejiang, China. The project has won the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, a testament to its outstanding design and innovation. The award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that exhibit excellent technical characteristics and artistic skill.
In conclusion, Dothink Daja Elegant Mansion is a unique blend of tradition and modernity, reflecting the spirit of the Grand Canal in Hangzhou. The project, designed by GFD, serves as a testament to the harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary elements, creating a serene and elegant space for urbanites. It is a prime example of how design can pay homage to cultural heritage while catering to the needs of modern living.
